At night we sleep with an electric heater in the bedroom area and this morning when I stepped out into the main area it was 43˚F (6˚C)!
So I fired up BIG buddy (portable propane heater), snapped a picture of the frozen windshield and went back to bed.
9:40 a.m. - The temperature in the main area is up from 43˚F to 53˚F and big Buddy stopped working. Kurt swapped the frosted propane cylinders but the heater would not start. So we did some troubleshooting with the Owner's manual.
2:02 p.m. Temp inside: 71˚F (21˚C) outside: 17˚F (-8˚C) We discovered that our kitchen and bathroom pipes are frozen. Kurt went out to buy some supplies to help defrost the pipes and keep them warm as we will get temperatures hovering around 0˚F tonight. Still love you Minnesota!
