Kurt and I are volunteering as camp hosts at a State Park on the shore of Lake Superior. We're having fun in our new position and our Travco gets to take a break and relax from our recent adventures.
It's neat to live in Travco. We invested in a toaster oven and a small LED light for the kitchen, it makes things much more comfortable. We are blessed with a camp site, water and electricity.
The weather is always changing near Lake Superior, one moment it's hot, the next it's cool. We can wake up in a fog and watch a colorful sunset at the end of the day. Kurt and I have been hiking around a bit.
The mosquitoes are crazy. We haven't seen any ticks yet. We did see deers, coyote, mouse (in the Travco!) woodchuck, gopher, squirrel, beautiful song birds. From our camp site, we can hear the ships blowing their horns, it's nice!
We take advantage of our free time to photograph the miniatures for our ongoing fine art photography project Un Petit Monde.
