So, RV life was pretty good... right up to the point when the power went out! We were running just fine until it began to rain so I suspect that the moisture is causing the problem.
Our Travco is supposed to be a 30amp RV, but the connector on the cable fits a 20amp hook up, so that's what I plugged into. It seems that the previous owner (being an electrician) had his reasons for converting the cord to a 20amp connector.
We are currently in a State Park and their maintenance guy (Paul) came over to lend a hand. He couldn't tell why the power wasn't reaching our rig but he was 95% sure that the problem was on our end. So we figured out a "work around" solution with extension cords. We have the computer and heater running, but no lights or fridge. I'll put my mind to this problem a little later, but not too much later as having electricity is a pretty high priority for us!
