Our last day as camp hosts was last Monday. We stored our Travco motorhome up north for the winter. We boondocked one night in the Superior National Forest to take photos of the miniatures for our project. We used our small generator to power an electric heater for part of the night. Then we drove down to Minneapolis, we've already slept a few nights in the van and are learning how to stay warm when the lows are in the mid-30s.
Kurt is putting together USPS priority boxes filled with food that will be sent to us while we are on the road (care packages). We learned last winter in Florida that it's difficult sometimes to find a good spot to buy food, it stinks to have to shop at a gas station! We'll have the boxes sent to us if and when we need them.
The weather is gorgeous in Minneapolis, we're wrapping up a photography project and are planning to leave in a week or two.
