To add to the stress of a broken van and dwindling bank account, we have to be in Denver (900 miles away) to meet with a client on Wednesday morning. I have faith everything is going to be fine, but don’t ask me to define “fine” at this moment.
Thanks to Greg and his son Adam for installing the brakes and rotors on our van!
We’ve been preparing for our trip to the southwest and I have to admit, we were feeling pretty confident (cocky) about having brand new all terrain tires and fresh brakes and rotors installed on the van. It was driving great… until last night. We were out running errands and dealing with last minute details when we smelled something burning and heard grinding coming from the rear differential. We pulled off the freeway and I tried to assess the problem. I noticed the differential was leaking, again (we just had the pinion seal replaced a month ago). We ended up having the van towed to an auto repair shop and we’re now awaiting news on what the damages might be.
