Edwige and I liked the island so much we returned to collect more shells and take some photos. I was a little uninspired at first (I guess the Travco's engine problems have me a little down). Walking near the fishing pier, we witnessed a fisherman hook a 300lb Goliath Grouper! They are a critically endangered species and fishermen have to release them if caught. It took some time, but they were eventually able to release this mammoth fish and send him back on his way!
That got my head back into the game. We went to the Travco and retrieved my telephoto lens. Of course I missed the opportunity to photograph the Grouper, but I found the birds hanging around the pier to be photogenic and humorous!
